Everyone that has a regular regimen for skin care and cosmetic use has this to remember, these few items are staples, have them close by for your use. Cleanser– Choosing the right one that is effective and gentle for all skin types, Imagery has several types of Cleansers, creamy, silky gels, oil cleansers, sudsy, maybe try them all.
Toner– Optional, but this is what keeps everything fresh feeling and balanced. Using a toner helps to restore fresh looking skin after cleanser, and to remove left over residue. Make sure it contains no alcohol. Spray toner is used also for traveling to add moisture to your skin. Epicuren’s Protein Mist, or Imagery’s own Soothing Mist

Serum– Personally I am a serum user, serums are a great beginning to any skin care program, and there are so many to choose from, just make sure the ones you choose work for your skin type. I am a big believer in Vitamin C to keep my skin looking bright. There is Liposome Serum, Rosacea Serum (keep redness at bay), Firming Serums, Hydrating Serums, which are all designed to do a specific task. Before Moisturizer. And some are designed to apply after moisturizer! Come in and I will show you how they make your skin feel like silk!
Moisturizer and Night Cream– Moisturizer is a protection as well as useful in keeping environmental elements away. Without moisturizer your skin becomes vulnerable to breakouts or patches of dry skin which can eventually cause premature aging. Night cream is optional, but during menopausal years it is recommended to keep skin supple and smooth. Nightly use of these special creams help with a variety of conditions. From blemishes and spots, to vibrant healthy tissue.
Sunscreen– Regardless of being indoors or just out side for a little while, it is necessary to apply a sunscreen. If using AHA’s, Retinol, or Vitamin C, Sunscreen protects as well as prevents hyperpigmentation. Especially here in Arizona! There are multitudes of Sunscreen on the market, choose wisely and remember ask for help if unsure of particular products. Imagery has chosen Epicuren and Coola Sun Products for all skin types.
Bronzers– To keep that glow throughout the summer, there is a cream or foam to easily apply for the face and body. If needed, ask your Esthetician to apply for you. There are spray booth’s in salons that are highly reputable to assist everyone. Along with Bronzing creams, for easy use there are bronzing powders! Fun to carry in any bag and easy to brush!
Mineral Makeup and Concealer– A must today! Mineral shades are so light you can’t tell they are on your skin! Most are liquid that easily go on and turn into a powder. My favorite! Each one of Imagery’s Mineral has an added SPF for more protection and cover beautifully with the right shade of concealer! Topped with Bronzing powder and blusher, oh la la!
Hand and Body Cream– A must in our desert climate! Hands need moisture as well as cuticles, as they can easily get dry and crack. Body lotions- Use the best one possible. You will be happy as they will last longer and not have that oily feel after applying. I choose Epicuren’s Afterbath lotion. Silky smooth after shower or bath.
Lip pencil and Lipstick-Lip liner is necessary for definition to the mouth, and bring a youthful appearance when choosing the right shade. Fill with Lipstick or gloss that is one shade lighter or equal to the lip pencil you and your technician choose. Tea Tree Lip Balm, another alternative after Lip liner! Keeps lips moist and protected at all times. Easy to put in your makeup bag for traveling.
Mascara and Brow Balm– A must in every makeup bag to finish the look! Brow Tint or balm will assist in keeping those stray brows in place and fill in sparse areas! For an added accessory we have RapidBrow and Lash Enhancing Serum to improve the appearance of lashes and brows! Really, it works!
